H.M.S Surprise, 18th century frigate (replica)

The H.M.S Surprise is a replica of an 18th century royal navy frigate that also was used in film "Master and Commander". The San Diego maritime museum purchased this boat from 20th century fox in 2004 and visitor will find fascinating exhibits featuring artifacts, costumes, weapons and the gun decks. There is also a man with pirate costume stands on the deck, in case you or your kids need to take picture with him.
