Birch Aquarium, La Jolla

The birch aquarium is a commercial institution to fund research on oceanography at UCSD. Inside the building, you could observe many rare under sea creatures (mostly from off shore of california) that probably beyond your imagination before. The one which very impressed to me is the sea dragon, a creature that its body look like a sea horse, yet the overall look is pretty close to a sea herb. Giant eel, unique jellyfish, king crab, and many other creatures also part of interesting display. Kids could interact with star fish at the outside pool and could ride a simple simulator which offers journey to sea with dolphins. Since the aquarium is located at height, we could sea panorama of La Jolla beach from its patio.
